70s protest signs

The Sixties in the US, and much of the Western world, were a time of social upheaval. Calls for change can be seen on sidewalk posters and protests signs demonstrators carry with them.

Those long-haired tree-huggers sure had a unique way of talking. Here are some excellent hippie words, phrases and slang with descriptions of what they mean and examples of how to use these terms in conversation. Let your freak flag fly!
