Lost world

I fell in love with this place, a hidden treasure in the French Alps. It seemed that time had stopped at the prehistoric age, a place surrounded by pure wilderness with hundreds of waterfalls and streams that gave life to the valley. #fstoppers

The waterfall is nicely hidden in an "almost" cave, made my the waterfall itself over the decades. The spot is quite simple to reach but very touristic & "photographed to death". I'm asking myself who cleans up the basin from the logs, trees, branches & stuff which are normally brought... #fstoppers

Clear skies and patience is all you need... having a vehicle to take a nap in is a bonus that is I am happy to take advantage of. I don't take this kind of photo often but I do like them... just a lot of photoshop work, at least for me. Oh ya, as a extra bonus, someone went in and turned... #fstoppers

Third visit to Passo di Giau and probably the best conditions. And that was only a back-up plan, how to not get completely destroyed after the previous day's trek, but to rest a bit :-) Although the sun didn't like it much from behind the clouds, it colored the rocks and the opposite meadow... #fstoppers
