Bespokewrinkles If you want to wear a waistcoat, make sure that it isn’t too long. A correctly proportioned waistcoat should extend to no more than a couple inches below your natural waist. As the waistcoat must adequately cover the trousers, high-waist trousers (higher than even the navel) are a must. A waistcoat that’s too long covers your belly with an unbroken mass of fabric that makes you look like you have a beer gut, even if you don’t. This is especially true in the DB configuration.

1960s Norfolk Tweed jacket by Burton. Dark green, light green, black and orange weave with orange check pattern. Four button, button fastening belt, two patch pockets to front, one internal breast pocket, action vents, centre vent and in very good worn condition. The lining is in good worn
