Easy strawberry dessert | Easy strawberry dessert Rachel shares an easy, fresh take on a classic dessert | By Kiera & Ryan & Danny & Justine | Just mixing one pint of diced or chopped up strawberry with a delicious fruity strawberry jello and one cup of boiling water. Good. We got those little bubbles. That means that it is dissolving. Now that we've got that dissolved, you're just going to take a cup of cold water. Don't worry, the instructions are right on the package and you're just going to pour that right in and give it a quick little mix. Ooh that looks good. Look at all those berries floating around in there. Okay. Check them out. I'm going to take this and stick it in the fridge for about 10 minutes to let it sit while we work on our base. Right so here I have just some broken pretzel pieces. Now I mix these up with my hands because it's super quick and easy this way but you could toss them right into a food processor if that's easier for you. Um but just take your pretzels. Break them up and then pour a stick of melted butter right on top of those pretzels. Pretzel pieces. And then just press them into the base of your baking dish. Such a classic. I love this and I'm so excited for summertime and spring to share this dish with everybody. Next just grab your a bowl. Okay, this is standard mixing bowl. We're going to take some Greek yogurt. So, take your Greek yogurt. This is a 1 pound or two-pound container, excuse me. We're going to just use about half of it. So, about 16 ounces of that plain Greek yogurt right into our mixing bowl That should be about bright. Then, I'm going to take some coconut flakes, okay? These are sweetened coconut flakes. I'm going to use about a half a cup of those sweetened flakes right in there with my yogurt. It's all stuck. There we go. Perfect. Next, Cool Whip, okay? Cool Whip. This is our eight ounce tub of Cool Whip. I've let it thaw. There it is. Okay, you're just going to take that entire tub of your Cool Whip. There it is. Plop it right on in there. Yummy. Ooh, I love that sweet flavor that Cool Whip offers to pretty much every dish. It's so fluffy. This is an alternate on a classic dish that I just love and believe it or not, I don't think I had this until I was about thirty. Okay, so I don't no mom. Where you been? I never had this and it's amazing. So here we go. I'm going to share it with all of the folks out there and hopefully they can spread this delicious treat with their family and friends before they turn thirty. Oh let me just straighten out my base here. Here we go. Easy peasy. Okay so just plop your whip mixture. Gonna go kind of in little clumps here because I want to make sure we can get this all over the base of our pretzels. We go. There it is. Mm. Alright. We are ready for our final step. Which is bringing in our strawberry jello mixture, okay? So this has been setting for what, maybe about an hour in the refrigerator and you're just going to pour that right on top. Look at how good that mixture looks. Oh my gosh. Yummy. The really gently just take your jello mixture and your strawberry and just kind of lightly them out trying to get to all the corners, all the little cook crooks and crevices, alright? Okay. Before I mess it up, I'm just going to take this and let it finish setting in the fridge for about another hour and it'll be ready to go and you can just put plastic and wait til your party if you want. This looks amazing. Now it looks actually almost the same as it did before we put it in the fridge an hour ago but now we're ready to dig in. It is a little jigglier. A little jigglier. Do you see those layers? Look at that. Oh my goodness. That looks amazing. Amazing. This is the moment of truth. I'm ready to try it. So I'm going to grab my little spoon. Scoop up that delicious jello and creamy layer. Oh and the the pretzels are still so crunchy. My mouth is actually watering. I'm excited. Let's go. That is tasty. Mm oh my gosh. Do you want to keep it all to yourself or? Mm hmm. Hold on. Ciao.
