I think this is true, to some degree. I think also that at different times in a person’s life that certain issues can resurface; revisiting and doing the the work again, albeit from a more mature and healed perspective is a good thing. For example; children who lose a parent in a traumatic way, will often have different perspectives as they grow up; revisiting the loss, and working through it again. Milestones are important touchstones.
