I love this project - mostly because there are SO many things you can teach/elaborate on and so many new (and old!) skills involved… it really was a project that met all my students creative needs in one way or another. Oh, drawing? Check! Painting? Check! Cutting? Check! Printmaking? Check! Anyways, here’s how we started the project… even though I WISH some of the parts only took 20 seconds 😂 . For the city drawings, we really focused on space and overlapping to get a more realistic view of a city/cityscape. . For the transfer onto the styrofoam plate, the biggest piece of advice (of which I learned from @cassie_stephenz ) is to use a colored pen first and then a black pen on top to really make sure those lines are d
