Best bamboo flooring cleaning ! 2 cups of white vinegar, 8 tbsp of Castile soap, and a little bit of rubbing alcohol. This will give you a healthy natural detergent which will not damage your floors (do not miss the alcohol as this is the key to a streak free floor !). You also can add a few drops of essential oil of your liking.

Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dish washing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price.

Every month or two, give the pipes a good preventative cleaning to keep them clear of grease, oil, and hair clogs. Pour 1/2 cup baking soda down the drain, followed by 1/2 cup white vinegar. The mixture will foam up. Let stand for a few minutes to dissolve fatty acids, then pour boiling water down the drain to wash out any clogs.
