Do you want a SUPER SIMPLE STRATEGY to help prevent diastasis? We need to open up the back ribs and the lateral abs! If they’re not mobile, the internal pressure will look for the path of least resistance, which is the connective tissue between the rectus abdominals (the linea alba). This will worsen diastasis! Luckily, I have a few poses to help you with that! ❤️Side Stretch: After a few breaths to open the side ribs, add a slight forward fold and twist to allow the breath to follow the path of the ribs from the front to the back. This will create space for the lateral abs to gently expand and release. ❤️Twists: Twisting poses can release tight back muscles and gently open the side seams of the body and chest. Many new and expectant people have a lot of tightness in the upper back
