It’s kind of becoming a bit of an addiction, to be honest. I started off with really neat, regular patterns, but then I got impatient and started letting the glue dribble all over the cardboard in a haphazard way. But you know what? I’ve learned something from this experience. I think making smaller plates might be the way to go. However, I’ve got to admit, I’m kind of liking the result of my messy, snail-trail-like plates. It might just be a gel printing treasure worth holding on to! I’m a horse owner and I buy carrots in 10kg nets. Obviously they are a bit different than a random onion net,as they need to be strong. I love how easy it is to create an ongoing pattern by glueing the net to a paper tube in stead of trying to flatten a larger piece on the plate. I’m quite happy with the organic feel of the the texture! 👩🏻‍🎨Details: * I used Tacky Glue to apply the net to the tube * I used acrylic paint. *I let the first layer dry before adding the pick up layer *I found the
