The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a key attribute in today's market for communicating a product's unique identity, lifecycle and environmental impact to costumers. This level of transparency is a game changer in driving more ethical, sustainable and responsible consumption and production. We are proud to share the new MCM WORLDWIDE x Harper Collective luggage made from repurposed sea-plastic, an innovative project that uses the traceability solution from Temera, a Beontag company. By integrating Beontag's NFC tags and Temera's solution each piece is serialized, authenticated and documented. Through the Digital Product Passport (DPP) implemented by the Aura Blockchain Consortium, customers can verify traceability, authenticity and sustainability info by scanning the NFC chip. This collaborative project serves as an inspiring case of how the luxury goods industry can adapt and thrive in the face of global challenges, paving the way for a more sustainable future. #Beontag #DPP #temera #sustainability #Retail
We are delighted to announce a project in which recently we have taken part, a collaboration between MCM WORLDWIDE and Harper Collective, introducing an innovative line of repurposed sea-plastic luggage that redefines sustainable luxury. MCM, known for its Smart Luxury leather goods, has presented this collaboration, leading the way for eco-conscious travel. Harper Collective, co-founded by visionaries Jaden Smith and Sebastian Manes, specializes in transforming reclaimed materials into luxury products. This collaboration has resulted in personalized luggage crafted from 70% recycled ocean plastic and post-consumer plastic, made at an Italian Atelier near Milan. This initiative drives the travel industry towards a greener future by turning waste into valuable treasures. As the leading provider of product traceability for the fashion and luxury markets, we at Temera, a Beontag company, are proud to be part of this collaboration. A notable feature of this collection is our NFC chip which ensures that each piece is serialized, authenticated and documented. Through the Digital Product Passport (DPP) implemented by the Aura Blockchain Consortium, customers can verify traceability, authenticity and sustainability info by scanning the NFC chip, setting new standards for trust and transparency in the luxury industry. The partnership between Harper Collective and MCM marks a groundbreaking venture, setting a precedent for the future of luxury travel that harmonizes with our environment.
