Sr. Regional Sales Director
The Sr. Regional Sales Director will work many opportunities throughout their assigned territory. Measurements for the Regional Sales Manager will be: funnel growth, project velocity (the speed with which we move opportunities through the funnel), and capture ratio (the percentage of projects we win versus the number of projects in the funnel). They will also be measured against the regional targets for customer adoption, market share growth and total dollar share per market and technology.
Responsibilities
Sales of Gigamon's products within assigned named accounts focused on expanding our presence in the installed base and developing New Logo/Greenfield
Achieve sales budget by development of new accounts
Maintain database of customers
Enter interactions with customers in Salesforce database
Use available resources to develop effective sales calls; these resources include opportunities identified by previous sales calls, invoices, Tech Service cases, webinar attendees and sample requests
Sell new and existing products, discover new opportunities, and secure incremental business
Explore, identify, and communicate potential opportunities with the Regional Directors, Country Manager and Senior Regional Director
Consistently perform effective sales calls throughout the assigned territory and close new business opportunities
Attend trade and vendor shows and meetings as required
Provide timely communication and follow-up to customers, consistently meet the customers’ expectations
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a related role and related industry (private and public sector)
Previous relationship with our major resellers (NTT, Logicalis, etc)
Previous relationship with top accounts in both private and public sectors
Technical background on network security and network performance practices
Self-starter, and strongly motivated for success
Team player that works closely with associated work partners to build/develop opportunities
Capable of understanding market dynamics, direct or indirect sales approaches
Capable of selecting and sorting appropriate partner channels
Fluent in English and Brazilian Portuguese
Experience with Cybersecurity solutions is a must
Previous experience working for a networking or security vendor is a strong differentiator
BA/BS in Business, CIS, or related field preferred.
Track Record of analytical capability in a high performance environment
High attention to detail and proven organization and administration skills
Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Office products
Experience using SalesForce.com
Familiar with Quoting software a plus
