Jr. Relationship Manager (Prime Services Sales)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for assigned prime brokerage clients, building, and nurturing strong relationships
  • Understand the unique needs and objectives of each client and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients
  • Collaborate with various internal departments including risk, operations, execution, and onboarding teams
  • Ensure proper coverage and support model is in place for customer business
  • Work with SG’s product and support teams to provide constructive customer and market feedback to help drive new product development and ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Closely follow regulatory changes and its implications in the Investment Industry
  • Introduce and refer potential clients to other business lines of SG as to increase synergies and cross-selling opportunities

Required

Profile required

  • At least 2 years of experience in prime brokerage space / sales desk / relationship management
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CPA-20 certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to deliver highly complex solutions to an Institutional client base and ensure smooth delivery by partnering with support functions.
  • Understanding of common investment strategies (Brazilian hedge funds, Quant, Equity managers, Fixed income funds, Brazilian Pension funds, etc)
  • Understanding of front to back trade flows across all prime products (listed and OTC derivatives clearing, FIPB, FXPB, EQPB, securities lending)
  • Knowledge in assessing client risk and regulatory environment
