I had the pleasure of working with Victor for two academic semesters advising him for his Cultural Sharing Scholarship at Montana State University. This scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and cultural involvement with the local community. To Victor, cultural involvement was not just about meeting the scholarship requirements, it was a passion and a call that helped him learn more about diversity and raise awareness about cultures.
