I was elected Finance professional of 2022 by ANEFAC (Brazilian Association of Finance,Business and Accounting Executives), crowning my career of relevant achievements at Petrobras.I made relevant contributions to every stage of its turnaround story, playing important roles and facing extremely challenging moments, when even its ability to continue operating, its reputation and its credibility were in check.The first step towards recovering the company was filing its financial statements in 2015, and I carried out technical discussions with regulators, independent auditors, and external counsel.From then on, its turnaround began. I participated in key negotiations and settlement agreements in Brazil and abroad, implemented cost reductions and digital transformation and participated in the design of a new company, with a new focus and a new strategy.I was one of the ambassadors of a relevant cultural change process, focused on meritocracy, a results-driven culture and value creation. For two years, I was the group CFO, a position in which I was a protagonist in the final part of one of the most impressive corporate turnaround stories in the world. I led important M&A transactions, focusing on assets where the company is able to create more value and be more resilient;I contributed to increasing the company's market cap with consistent results and a solid strategy that positioned it as a low-cost, low-carbon player in the global oil and gas industry; I led relevant transactions in the international and Brazilian debt markets; I contributed to record operational and financial results, alongside with record incorporation of oil and gas reserves that ensure the company's sustainability; among other achievements. I also highlight the robust shareholder remuneration policy that allowed the company, in 24 months, to return to its shareholders more than its market cap (when compared to the date I was appointed CFO). Follow-on to sell the remaining shares of BR Distribuidora held by Petrobras (a US$ 2 bn + ECM transaction in July/2021)
