Hi. I'm Rafa Caldeira.

I believe the best advertising is not advertising.

Since 2016, I have been working in non-traditional agencies, pursuing creative work that makes room for itself by connecting culture and technology.

In 2015, I started a journey with Felipe Simi and Pedro Tourinho and joined Soko as the first hired creative and strategist. Soko was the first earned media creative shop in Brazil and now it is part of Droga5. During my tenure there, I led the creative team for nearly 7 years, positioning the agency as one of the most awarded, creative, and desired agencies in the country. Besides the creative work, the agency became very acknowledged for its culture craft on D&I and respect.

In 2022, I accepted a new challenge from Eduardo Simon and Rafael Urenha to become a partner and Head of Innovation at Galeria, a new kind of agency that pushes data and creativity to the limits to create impressive business results for clients like Itaú, McDonald's, Natura, and Havaianas. According to Scopen, in less than two years, clients have ranked Galeria as the top agency in over 16 categories, including Most Innovative, Best Craft, and Best Creative.

Recently, in late December of 2023, in addition to my role at Galeria, I co-founded a company named 404 with my close friends and admirable colleagues, Renan and Saulo Monjon.

404 is a creative and innovation company. Currently collaborating with Netflix and Google. 404 helps ambitious and brave brands to design new futures and think beyond advertising.

Far away from the advertising world, I had the honor of being listed in Forbes' 30 Under 30 for a fashion project I co-founded with my brother, Guilherme Caldeira. Milk42 is the first subscription-based apparel service in Brazil. Each t-shirt comes with carbon credits tracked by blockchain, enabling users to monitor their impact.
