How can you encourage collaboration and avoid competition in your team?
Balancing individual goals and team-based objectives is a complex task. Each approach has its advantages and disadvantages, and as someone with experience in managing people, I've navigated both paths. Through my experience, I've come to the conclusion that while individual goals can yield quick results initially, for sustained growth and success in the long term, prioritizing team-based goals and incentives is the way to go.

Some top tools worthy of checking: Atlassian Confluence for documentation, sharing ideas, and creating your organization's knowledge database Atlassian Jira for project management Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) for calendars, meetings, docs, presentations, and spreadsheets. Slack for messaging

How can you encourage collaboration and avoid competition in your team?
One way to build trust is by adequately engaging in brave conversations. When people avoid facing and handling problems, an organization may fall into an artificial harmony. It's when people behave like everything is perfectly fine when it's not. Try this approach to handle complex topics: 1- Always start with facts and data. Actual examples are better than generic comments. 2 - Talk about your feelings rather than being judgmental. Try to say something like, "Because of this or that, I felt like...". Avoid judging other people's behavior with expressions like "you've been lazy" or "you aren't committed." 3 - Be clear about what you need. State your asks clearly so the other person can understand your expectations and work on them.
