Last year, BUFF’s midnight shorts program was a more mature affair. It was a promise of a new era. We said goodbye to our edgelord past and ushered in a refined collection of short films that kept the transgressive spirit of the block intact.
Well, I’m sorry to report that in 2020, we are back on our bullshit. These are the films that are going to get us cancelled. This block is a wall of buttons and we are going to mash them like an arcade fighting game. It’s BUFF’s position that we can consume and exhibit problematic content without remorse; however if you think this type of immorality is going to infect you through osmosis, we suggest you stay away. The warning is right there in the title, after all.
