The Celtics have been on a nonstop victory tour since clinching the NBA championship on Monday night, beating out the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the Finals at TD Garden. After an initial stop-off in Miami, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla arrived back in Boston on Wednesday and hit up five North End restaurants with the trophy in tow that same night.

According to a Celtics rep, Mazzulla hauled the 29-pound trophy to Strega North End, Carmelina’s, Arya Trattoria, Umbria, and Table, all in one night. Through the rep, Mazzulla declined to provide further details on the night out for this story.

Still, the restaurants themselves were happy to host the newly minted NBA champions — and post about it on Instagram. See below for photos and videos from Mazzulla’s night out in the North End:

It’s been a historic run for the team this year. The 2024 championship marks a record-setting 18th NBA title win for the Celtics.
