Course Aim
This course aims to provide personnel with a basic understanding of the current and future Learning Technologies in a Defence setting. It provides an introduction to emerging technologies, the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS), mobile learning and serious games for learning. The Course also contains a practical example of using the Methods and Media Selection Tool to assist in assessing the methods used for course delivery.

Entry Requirements
The Introduction to Learning Technologies web-page hosted on the Defence Virtual Learning Environment (DVLE) will provide an overview of the current available Learning Technologies. Enrolled students will be contacted and encouraged to have read through the suggested reading list on the DVLE prior to the residential phase.
