Bookouture re-sign contracts with thriller authors Dounaeva and North

We are excited to announce that Commissioning Editor Billi-Dee Jones has acquired World All Language, audiobook, film and TV rights to a new gripping psychological thriller from Lorna Dounaeva. Set against the atmospheric backdrop of the Orkney Islands, this twist-filled thriller will publish in 2025.

Billi says,

We’re also thrilled to announce that Associate Publisher Lucy Frederick has acquired World All Languages rights in a deal for four new standalone psychological thrillers by Lauren North from Amanda Preston at LBA. The first jaw-dropping book in the contract – a gripping, twisty, heart-in-mouth thriller about a couple framed for murder just before their wedding day – will publish in May 2025.
