Joey Chestnut's eating excellence isn't limited to hot dogs.

The champion competitive eater accepted a challenge from Buffalo Wild Wings to eat 200 wings on Monday to extend the restaurant's all-you-can-eat boneless wing promotion until August 14.

As a man of the people, Chestnut completed the challenge.

In response, the chain restaurant announced that the promotion would indeed be extended until August 14.

The promotion was first offered in May and was set to end July 10. It occurs every Monday and Wednesday, so consumers will be able to take advantage of Chestnut's accomplishment 12 more times.

Chestnut has been a Fourth of July fixture for many years due to his dominance in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. He won the contest 16 times, including eight consecutive times from 2016 to 2023.

He was banned from the 2024 contest due to his association with Impossible Brands, who have a vegan hot dog that is technically a competitor of Nathan's. Patrick Bertoletti took home the 2024 title with 58 hot dogs consumed.

Chestnut was still active on the holiday, however, as he participated in an event at Fort Bliss that saw him take on active-duty soldiers. He won the event with 57 hot dogs in 5:30.

Fans will have a chance to see Chestnut very soon when he takes on rival Takeru Kobayashi in a one-on-one hot dog battle over Labor Day weekend. The event will be broadcast on Netflix.
