Updated WWE SummerSlam 2024 Match Card Predictions After Money in the Bank Results

WWE Money in the Bank is officially in the books, which means SummerSlam is just four weeks away.

The Biggest Party of the Summer will emanate from Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, OH on Saturday, Aug. 3. The company's third largest premium live event of the year will likely deliver memorable moments and top-notch matches.

Although only two official matches are scheduled, this year's card is progressively coming together. A bitter rivalry that kickstarted during the men's Royal Rumble match is set to take center stage.

Meanwhile, the new Tribal Chief could begin his quest for champion gold at the event where Roman Reigns famously returned in 2020. As such, it could be a significant night for The Bloodline.

The 2024 King and Queen of the Ring winners have already earned a title shot so the following two matches are set:

WWE Women's Championship: Bayley (c) vs. Nia Jax

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Damian Priest (c) vs. Gunther

These five additional matches could fill out the SummerSlam card following a jam-packed weekend of wrestling.

DIY defeated Austin Theory and Grayson Waller during the latest episode of SmackDown to win the WWE Tag Team Championship.

This victory marks the first time the two have won championship gold together since 2016 and their first reign on the main roster. Johnny Gargano is a known Cleveland native and Browns fan, so it seems safe to assume he and Tommaso Ciampa will defend their titles at SummerSlam.

The Street Profits would be great opponents for the duo as they just picked up a win over Pretty Deadly. Both teams could use a strong feud to sink their teeth into, and this matchup could fit the bill.

LA Knight has seemed destined to face Logan Paul for the United States Championship since last year.

The two crossed paths in the build to Money in the Bank last June, and their tension intensified as Knight questioned why Paul wasn't available to defend his title. The Mega Star eventually defeated him and Santos Escobar to qualify for this year's ladder match.

Their showdown at Madison Square Garden on June 28 made headlines when Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton got involved. Nevertheless, this rivalry is far from over, and SummerSlam could be the destination for their one-on-one match.

Knight's singles title win is long overdue, and Paul is the perfect foil for him. Maybe, he will finally obtain championship gold at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Liv Morgan sought revenge after WrestleMania 40 as she put Rhea Ripley on the shelf and forced her to vacate the WWE Women's World Championship.

In her absence, Morgan claimed the title and continued to tempt Dominik Mysterio into betraying Ripley. It's only a matter of time before The Eradicator returns and starts a revenge tour of her own.

It's still unclear when the 27-year-old will be clear to re-enter the ring after she sustained an AC joint injury on Raw after Mania. If her recovery goes well, she could be ready in time for SummerSlam.

CM Punk has been in the midst of a heated rivalry with Drew McIntrye since January.

The Scottish Warrior injured Punk during the men's Royal Rumble match, costing him the chance to headline WrestleMania 40. As a result, the two have engaged in a bitter game of tit-for-tat for the past three months.

The Chicago native evened the score at Money in the Bank when he ruined McIntyre's cash-in attempt and cost him the world heavyweight title again. Although The Straight Edge Superstar still isn't cleared to wrestle, it's a safe bet he will be back ahead of The Biggest Party of the Summer.

It's the ideal time to wrap up one of the longest-running stories of the year and position Punk's first one-on-one match on a prominent stage.

Solo Sikoa set his sights on Cody Rhodes and the undisputed WWE title at Clash at the Castle.

The self-appointed Tribal Chief usurped Roman Reigns' throne after The American Nightmare finally defeated him at WrestleMania 40. His claim to power has put him on a collision course with the new champion ever since.

At Money in the Bank, Sikoa staked his claim to a title match when he pinned Rhodes in the main event with the help of The Bloodline. The two will likely headline the upcoming premium live event, where Reigns could make his long-awaited return.
