Murray is set to retire following the 2024 season, and he has seen some of his best moments on the grass courts in London. He won the event in 2013 and 2016 as a singles player and reached the second round in 2019 in the doubles portion of the tournament.

He won three majors in his career, with the other victory coming at the 2012 U.S. Open, and reached the final round in the French Open once and the Australian Open five times.

His quest for another singles title at Wimbledon came to an end after he was forced to withdraw due to having undergone surgery prior to the event. His time on the courts is not officially over, however, as he will be participating in mixed doubles alongside Emma Raducanu before the event closes.

His first match alongside Raducanu will occur against El Salvador's Marcelo Arevalo and China's Zhang Shuai Saturday.
