WWE fans can now view WrestleMania 40 in a new way.

The company officially released WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain on Wednesday. It's a behind-the-scenes documentary about the April 6-7 event that featured Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Roman Reigns and many others.

One of the biggest revelations of the documentary came when Triple H confirmed that the original plan for WrestleMania 40 was for CM Punk to take on Seth Rollins. However, The Best in the World suffered an injury before the event, resulting in the plans being changed.

The documentary premiered live on YouTube at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

The event featured 14 different matches, including a main event on Night 1 that saw The Rock and Reigns defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a tag team match. The following night, Rhodes got revenge over Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

The documentary goes into detail of how the main event came to be, The Rock's involvement and other never-before-seen action from the event.

It will allow fans to reminisce about the two-night event and also generate enthusiasm for future WWE shows. WrestleMania 41 will take place on April 19-20, 2025, but the early signs are pointing to some of the big names from this year's show being involved again.
