76ers priorities for tonight's Game 6 vs. the Knicks:
- Win
- Make sure this doesn't happen again at their home arena ↓
Hoops Nation @_HoopsNationThe New York Knicks fans took over Wells Fargo Center today 🤯<br><br>(via <a href="https://twitter.com/KrisGerald?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@KrisGerald</a>) <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NewYorkForever?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#NewYorkForever</a> <br> <a href="https://t.co/1YCnrFQIb3">pic.twitter.com/1YCnrFQIb3</a>
Passively: Dr. J has pled with fans to show up; Chuck has (jokingly) threatened Knicks fans; and officials have extended 'Bricken for Chicken' to the whole game.
Aggressively: The team owners bought more than 2K tickets (roughly 10% of capacity) to give away to 76ers fans.
All this comes in response to Game 4 in Philly, when Knicks fans ...
- Took over Wells Fargo Center
- Chanted expletives
- Put a Knicks jersey on Wilt's statue
... and generally channeled the energy of the Bing Bong guy.
