Open Iftar x Guildhall

Ramadan Tent Project’s flagship project, Open Iftar, returns for its 11th year, promising an unforgettable experience.

Iftar is the meal that Muslims eat to break their fast at sunset. The Ramadan Tent Project is an award-winning charity that brings communities together and spreads the spirit of Ramadan through various initiatives.

Their mission is to turn strangers into friends, and that is why their events are open to people of all faith backgrounds and none.

Since 2013, Open Iftar has connected over one-million people across the country at some of Britain’s most iconic cultural spaces, from the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, and Trafalgar Square to regional events at Baltic Museum, Bradford’s Centenary Square, Coventry Cathedral and many more!

This year marks a historic milestone, as for the very first time in the charity’s history, Open Iftar will take place in all four home nations of the UK. The City of London is proud to be hosting at Guildhall, bringing people together in the beautiful surroundings of the Great Hall.

Join us in celebrating this momentous and popular occasion, where communities come together in the spirit of Ramadan. Admission is free.
