Your support of Beginning with Children will ensure BwC continues to create pathways for our students to higher education, academic success, and professional and community leadership.

What Your Support Can Do

$10,000

A $10,000 investment could be used to fund a day of learning at a SUNY campus for our 9th grade, including a mock class and a career office presentation.
$5,000

A $5,000 investment could be used to pay for transportation, food, and supplies for five high school students participating in our Summer Exploration workforce readiness program.
$2,500

A $2,500 investment could be used to pay a visiting teaching artist to host four workshops for our Leadership in Action program: A Leadership Development, Community Engagement, and Executive skill-building Program for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade students.

A $1,000 investment could be used to connect our youngest scholars/students to the living lab of New York City through field trips.

A $500 investment could be used to purchase supplies for one of our teaching artists to use when educating our students in music, dance, or culinary arts.

Is my donation secure?

Absolutely. Beginning with Children makes the security and confidentiality of your information our highest priority. We use industry-standard technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. We will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.

What shows up on my statement?

The donation you are making today will show up on your credit card statement as “Donation to BWC”.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Beginning with Children is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization with the IRS, and your donation is fully tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S taxes, please keep the donation receipt as your official record.

Do I get a receipt?

A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address you provide on this form. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. We will also send you a formal thank you letter to the mailing address provided.
