We're excited to announce that we've begun investigating into Uniqo, our new advanced entity resolution module. As we progress, preliminary results are promising, indicating the potential to efficiently manage vast datasets of 1 billion entities and 40 billion relations. 📈 This progress reflects a strategic shift to an incremental computational approach, aiming to enhance efficiency and enable real-time data processing. The integration of Graph and Vector DBs is also expected to significantly boost performance by supporting more dynamic data interactions. 🤩 As we transition from batch to streaming data processing, Uniqo is designed to efficiently handle continuous data flows and adapt transformations to this advanced approach. 🧐 #DataScience #EntityResolution #GraphDB #VectorDB #BigData #DataAnalytics

🌿 Sustainable development goals, are regtechs part of the solution ? Swiss and European perspectives on sustainable finance was the tempting programme offered by hub.brussels on Tuesday at the Belgian Embassy in Geneva, with the support of FINTECH BELGIUM. Maxime Dohogne welcomed 11 Belgian and Swiss #regtech firms for a morning session of discussions with Geneva's financial community, including bankers, asset managers, consultants, and lawyers. The first two panel discussions opened the floor for a myriad of topics around sustainable development goals and the role of regtechs in achieving them. Some points of discussion included: ✔ The overwhelming wave of regulations that various countries and regions are grappling with, defining the 'what' but leaving the 'how' ambiguous. ✔ The critical role of data in this sector, its scarcity, and the absence of a unified reference framework. ✔ The Swiss Climate Score, introduced by AMAS and the Swiss Banking Association, aiming to bring clarity to the evaluation of financial investments. The importance of self-regulation in the development of these scores, especially given the slow pace of legislative processes. ✔ The challenges in defining and understanding what a sustainable product is, which often leads to criticism and misinterpretations. ✔ The static nature of assessments, which are only accurate at a specific point in time, raising questions about how to evaluate a product both today and in the future. ✔ The discussions culminated in an insightful analogy: embracing organic products does not necessarily mean forgoing Nutella - the two can coexist harmoniously! poke Louis Collinet The last panel was the opportunity for the regtechs to present their solutions, a broad overview of different needs and solutions with Data.be (Toon Vanagt), D-Carbonize (Grégoire Talbot), easyReg (Enrico Giacoletto, CFA, FRM), Greenomy (Christoph Mayr), Indigita SA (Achille Deodato), Lari (Maxime Gauvin), Polixis (Gareth Spiers), SOPIAD (Julien Renkin), Tapio (Louis Collinet), Wequity (Gabriel Levie) and Flair Diligence by Vadis Technologies. Maxime Dohogne, Nathalie Stefanovic, hub.brussels thanks for the initiative and invitation ! #csrd #csddd

You can not speak today about #sustainability without speaking of data. 🤔 You may wonder why ? Here are some of my insights after an interesting Agoria session this week, in Brussels where Belgian companies shared their challenges. 🌿Implementing effective sustainability programs requires more than good intentions; it requires informed decisions grounded in data-driven insights. Here's why: 1️⃣ Measurable Progress: Data provides the metrics needed to track and measure the impact of sustainability initiatives. It helps us answer critical questions: Are we reducing emissions? Are we conserving resources? Are we making a difference? 2️⃣ Targeted Solutions: Data analysis identifies areas with the highest environmental impact and risks, internally and on the supply chain. Armed with this knowledge, organizations can prioritize efforts where they matter most, optimizing resource allocation and cost savings. 3️⃣ Transparency: Transparency builds trust. Sharing data on sustainability practices and achievements builds credibility with suppliers, partners, consumers and stakeholders, fostering a sense of shared responsibility. 4️⃣ Accountability: Data holds us accountable. It's a tangible record of our commitments, progress, and setbacks. It helps us stay on track and align our actions with our sustainability goals. How do you use data in your sustainability programs ? How do you share data through your supply chain ? Don't hesitate to share your toughs ! #dataanalytics #tprm #csddd

Thrilled to share our journey at the recent Swift Hackathon, where we tackled the complexities of improving ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting for organizations. At Vadis Technologies, we opted for an inventive approach: merging a myriad of data sources, both public and private, and both structured and unstructured, such as global compliance articles. We channeled this extensive data into an interactive knowledge graph, providing companies with an intelligent chatbot to easily access and interact with their data. This chatbot is fueled by a powerful language model, making the user experience smooth and efficient. Key Takeaways? There's no universal blueprint for automating ESG reporting. Employing a mix of cutting-edge tech like Neo4j vector indexes and OpenAI embeddings significantly eases the search and analysis of textual data. Additionally, the power of modern chatbot technology was evident. Thanks to an advanced language model, our chatbot not only understands queries effectively but can also execute private functions to pull and summarize relevant data swiftly. It taps into a broad ESG knowledge base and our carefully assembled datasets. #hackathon #esg
