    Showpad is celebrating and honoring Juneteenth — a day of freedom, resilience and perseverance. June 19th marks the day that news of the Emancipation Proclamation reached Galveston, Texas on June 19th, 1865. Union soldiers arrived with the news about the abolition of slavery over two years after President Lincoln passed the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863. Juneteenth is a reminder for us to continue creating a supportive and equitable environment for all our employees. It’s important for us to recognize that there is still much more to be done to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization and beyond.
