Back from two intense and productive days at the University of Strathclyde in #Glasgow, collaborating with Christopher White, Mohammed Sarfaraz Gani Adnan, and YoungHwa Cha on the MEDiate Project. Their talk was part of the session "Session TNM5 - Multi-Hazard Risk Assessment of Buildings and Bridges". 📉 Their presentation, titled "Damage State-Dependent Fragility Models for Reinforced-Concrete Buildings Exposed to Flood and Seismic Hazards ", emphasized the development of accumulating fragility curves. 🚨More insights in disaster risk management - 2° cycle of Participatory Action Research workshops 🌍 On Wednesday, 26th MEDiate was showcased at local workshops in Nice, in the beautiful room of L'Artistique, Centre d'Arts et de Culture & Espace Ferrero. The event was organized by the Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur and the Ville de Nice, in collaboration with NORSAR, R2M Solution, and BRGM in France! 💡 The #MEDiate project focuses on collaboratively designing and developing an advanced Decision Support System (#DSS) for #disaster #risk #management, with active engagement from local #stakeholders and communities across our four testbeds. The Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur is a partner in the project and serves as a pilot territory for the co-design and experimentation of this system.
