Celebrating Sustainability and Team Spirit at Euroports Germany! We had an incredible time at three recent events, and we can't wait to share the highlights with you! Health Day for Our Trainees In the beautiful beach setting of Warnemünde, our trainees enjoyed a day full of learning and fun. They gained valuable tips on nutrition and team building through interactive workshops and had a blast trying out beach volley, spike ball, beach tennis, soccer darts, and table tennis. It was a fantastic day to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen team spirit! 15th Rostock Company Run Euroports Germany proudly participated in the 15th Rostock Company Run with 11 enthusiastic teams. It was all about camaraderie and finishing the race together. In a beautiful initiative supporting sustainability, tree seedlings were purchased for each participant to be planted in Rostock’s forests this November. We can't wait to run again in the 16th Company Run in 2025! TOP Training Company Award We are thrilled to announce that Euroports Germany’s subsidiary "Gesamthafenbetriebsgesellschaft Rostock" has been recognised by the Rostock Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) with the “TOP-Ausbildungsbetrieb" ("TOP Training Company”) title. Euroports China hosted the 2024 Euroports Crayfish Event in Changshu, an annual celebration that unites all our stakeholders. Since its inception in 2007, this event has been a cornerstone for fostering connections within the Euroports China family. This year, the event was graced by Mr. Frédéric Platini, CEO of Euroports, who expressed the Group’s heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support from our customers and the diligent efforts of the Euroports China team. As part of our cherished tradition, Mr. Platini, along with Anthony Gu, Managing Director of Euroports China, and Werner Cramers, Business Support Director, joined in cooking crayfish, adding a personal touch to the festivities. The Crayfish Event is more than just an annual gathering; it reflects our unity and commitment to strengthening customer relationships and collaboration. On June 24th, Euroports welcomed the Koga Ranger vessel, chartered by the Mammoet group, to Port-La Nouvelle. The vessel delivered a Demag CC 8800 crane to our terminal, primarily dedicated to port operations for wind energy. In a few weeks, this high-capacity crane will offload the WTG components (blades, nacelles, and tower sections) from Vestas vessels for both the Eolmed and LES EOLIENNES FLOTTANTES DU GOLFE DU LION projects. Collaboratively ensuring the success of these innovative projects in France, EFGL, Eolmed and its EPC MPArchimed, Mammoet, and Euroports are directly involved in the development of the floating offshore wind energy industry. Did you know that the Port of Rauma is the largest container port on the west coast of Finland? In 2023, the total volume of container traffic passing through the port was approximately 210,000 container units (TEU), making Rauma the third-largest container port in Finland. The Port of Hanko is also important for container traffic, with around 58,000 TEUs in 2023, placing it fourth in the statistics.
