How to enhance the capacities of #researchers and research managers across Europe? A new report analysed 16 EU-funded projects working in researchers' skills in #OpenScience, entrepreneurship, and innovation. The report makes six recommendations: 1️⃣ Create a catalogue of existing training courses for skills development, sharing methodologies, #skills validation and recognition 2️⃣ Reinforce the relationship between transversals skills and the assessment of researchers 3️⃣ Establish mentorship programmes for researchers and research managers, career path guidance, curriculum integration and mandatory training modules 4️⃣ Continuously refine and improve skills initiatives 5️⃣ Enhance managerial skills and create specialised training programmes for R2 (PhD holders or equivalent not yet independent) and R4 researchers (those leading their research area or field) 6️⃣ Assess the impact of these skills programmes Discover more ➡️ https://europa.eu/!9nHgCW
