The month of July is traditionally reserved for the European Summer School on Internet Governance - EuroSSIG, taking place in beautiful Meissen, Germany. ✨ This week, our Legal Counsel Julie MICHEL is representing EURid there. She shared some insights from the discussions held on the topic of the Global Digital Compact, led by the United Nations: "The push for a Global Digital Compact and efforts to balance multistakeholder input in multilateral discussions highlight the complex dynamics of internet governance and the need for innovative policy solutions." 🌐 Yesterday's focus was placed on Internet governance and geo-strategic policy with input by Wolfgang Kleinwächter, vint cerf, Irina Soeffky, Bertrand de LA CHAPELLE, Fiona Alexander, Pearse O'Donohue, Jorge Cancio Melia, Peixi Xu, Chris Disspain.
