REY Médical SA has a well-established reputation on the Swiss healthcare market, delivering a wide range of hospitals and clinics across the country, with a rich portfolio of high-quality and innovative devices from renowned brands. This acquisition fits into Duomed’s strategy to grow as the leading distribution platform of value-added MedTech solutions for healthcare providers across Europe. By combining its current expertise in Switzerland on endoscopy, with REY Médical SA’s strength in surgery, Duomed will be able to enhance its offering to Swiss medical care teams, with the aim to improve patients’ outcomes. Both companies share the same values, a commitment towards building a more sustainable society, and a passion for customer satisfaction. Duomed Group and Palex Medical to create the first truly pan-European MedTech distribution platform focused on value-added products and services We are pleased to announce that Duomed and Palex have entered into exclusive negotiations to form the first truly pan-European MedTech distribution platform focused on value-added solutions. Founded in 1955 as a family business, Palex is the leading distributor of high value-added MedTech solutions in Southern Europe. As Duomed, we are leading on the same path, being active in ten countries across North & Central Europe. The combined group would have an expanded geographical footprint and a wider product portfolio and therapeutic area coverage, which would benefit both customers and OEM suppliers.
