    👏 Bopro's Forward Thinking Experts successfully complete expedited Technical and Environmental Due Diligence for 54-Building #Portfolio About ten of our colleagues successfully executed both Technical Due Diligences (TDD) and Environmental Due Diligences (EDD) for a portfolio of more than 50 buildings within a remarkably short timeframe. This comprehensive evaluation was performed in the context of a significant #refinancinginitiative, providing our clients with a detailed CAPEX/OPEX picture of their portfolio, both financially and environmentally. Executing such a comprehensive due diligence process for so many buildings in less than 2 months underscores our #commitment to excellence, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Our multidisciplinary team's expertise and dedication were key to achieving this #milestone, providing our client with the confidence and clarity needed for their refinancing endeavors. ✅ Technical Due Diligence is a crucial step in the #investmentprocess, providing valuable insights into the technical health, risks, and opportunities associated with an asset.     🏢 Exciting Forward Thinkers visit of the Central 31 project, an iconic 15-storey building in the heart of Brussels! ☀️ Specific attention for this project was focused on co-working spaces promoting collaboration, flexibility, and productivity while reducing costs and also the implementation of daylight in these spaces enhancing health, #wellbeing, and energy efficiency, creating an ideal work environment that benefits individuals and businesses alike. 📜 Bopro’s role consisted of determining, following up and realising the objectives with regard to the programme of requirements, timing and budget, the management of urban planning and environmental permits, to the creation of a specific financial table to have a monthly dashboard that meets investor requirements. 👏 Special thanks to our Forward Thinkers christian Brodbeck and François DE BLOUDTS, and also Joris Nivelle and Thierry Martin from FCM Architects for this guided tour. #TeamBuilding #CoWorking

    ✍️ Recently, all partners signed the #visionnote for the land-use changes of the Northern clay pits Boom-Rumst area. The land-use changes ensures that the clay extraction will not be threatened, that dance festival Tomorrowland will keep sufficient camping space and that areas of ‘top wet nature’ will be added in the Rupel valley. ➡️ Bopro was responsible for process management as well as the followed consultation model, resulting in this common vision note. With special thanks to our Forward Thinkers Frank de Mulder and Dirk Van de Poel for their expert guidance. ✅ In order to realise the principles and objectives from this signed vision note, the Provincie Antwerpen will start the procedure of a Provincial Spatial Implementation Plan for the area of the northern clay pits of Gemeente Rumst and Lokaal bestuur Boom. #AreaDevelopment #VisionNote

    🚧 Discover the Herfurth project at BLUE GATE ANTWERP business park! Our Forward Thinkers Dries Geenen, Charline Herpoel, Michaela Vernimmen and Lise Ongena are assisting the client Herfurth Group and our partner Montea in realising a new sustainable logistics building, next to Amazon on the d'Herbouvillekaai. Our experts assist in the ✅ selection of the best construction scenario, ✅ following up a rigorous planning, ✅ coordination and execution in terms of performance, budget and timeframe And they supervise the #BREEAM certification process towards the Excellent rating. The integration of #LCA calculations and the choice of performance-based tendering entailed optimising the new construction for sustainability, environmental impact and cost-effectiveness. ➡️ Through a scenario analysis of the different structure proposals, the decision was made to use an X-carb steel deck instead of the traditional steel deck, but also the choice of timber frame construction brought a significant reduction in CO2.     👀 Looking forward to the BREEAM-award show on the 10th of July where our client D'IETEREN IMMO with their Mobilis project is shortlisted in the category Best BREEAM New Construction | Non-Residential project! The Mobilis project can be regarded as a multi-functional, innovative, flexible and sustainable project focusing on a variety of activities in which the building scored particularly well in the following BREEAM categories : 💡 ENERGY Performing all energy studies with real impact on the design strategy. The building is energy-neutral thanks to the use of #LZCtechnologies, energy efficient lighting and lifts 💧 WATER Implementing a variety of water saving measures such as the choice of sanitary fittings with low water consumption, rainwater collection and re-use for irrigation as well as WC/urinal flush, water leak detection, prevention and monitoring 🚮 WASTE and MATERIALS Opting a fully-fledged #circularapproach with items such as raised floors, floor tiles, internal doors, stairs, sectional doors, workshop equipment, lighting fixtures and sanitary and office equipment making their way on to the circular market so that they could be reused 🍃 LAND USE and ECOLOGY Choosing for an ecological engagement helped to form a strategy on enhancement of the ecological value and #biodiversity which results in planting the green roof into a vegetable garden for the use of the local restaurant. 👏 Our #forwardthinkers Nico Wallays, Sabine Vandenmuisenberg, Michaela Vernimmen and Anke Verest guide this innovative, sustainable and flexible project towards.     The European Green Deal inaugurated an untold #transformation of the entire European economy. It aims to transform the EU into a fair and prosperous society, with a modern, resource-efficient, and competitive economy. ☘ The European Union is committed to #climateneutrality by 2050, but is also fostering economic growth without increasing resource use and environmental degradation. 🤝 Together with 135 companies and civil society organisations, all members of the Belgian #sustainabilitynetwork The Shift vzw, Bopro signed an open letter urging future government leaders in Belgium and Europe to continue on the path towards a net zero, nature-positive and equitable economy! 🗨 As our Managing Director Peter Garre stated: "#Sustainability is a business case and should be considered as such.
