Last Friday, our colleague Juanjo Horas took part in one of the parallel debates of the XXXV Assembly of AIMFA, in Valencia. The debate was moderated by Josep Ruiz Sánchez and had as its central theme ‘Connecting successfully: Omnichannel strategies in the pharmaceutical industry’. The debate centred on the perspectives of the healthcare professional (through Dr. Clara Bonanad), the industry (through Helena Saigí Aguas) and specialised service companies (thanks to Across Health). During the session, our colleague Juanjo Horas demonstrated insights in to the evolution of relationship models with HCPs within pharmaceutical companies, analysing the potential gaps that slow an effective transformation towards true customer-centric models. Helena discussed the challenges that pharma companies face in their transformation processes and emphasised a series of key pillars that need due consideration. Finally, Dr. Clara Bonanad spoke about her experience in interacting with the pharmaceutical industry. During her talk, Dr. Bonanad shared the need for pharma companies to truly understand the needs of healthcare professionals in order to propose compelling solutions.
