The recent flooding in the greater Sylhet area resulted in significant disruptions to the telecommunications network, affecting the continuity of our services. Summit Communications Limited had a profoundly enriching experience at the recent career fair organized by BRAC University. We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers for their warm hospitality and for providing us the opportunity to engage in such an interactive session with the university’s talented students. Today a contract was signed between the Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and Summit Communications Limited to connect 245 remote unions to the “Info-Sarker III “and “Connected Bangladesh” network. The signing ceremony, held at the BCC auditorium, was attended by Mr. Ranjit Kumar, Executive Director of BCC; Mr. Jagodish Chandra Sarker, Project Director of the Connected Bangladesh Project; Mr. Arif Al Islam, Managing Director and CEO of Summit Communications Limited; Mr. Brigadier General (Retd.) Ali Murtoza Khan, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer; and other senior officials. This initiative aims to enhance socio-economic development in remote areas, aligning with the vision of ‘Smart Bangladesh.’

We are pleased to announce that our esteemed Chairman, Mr. Muhammad Farid Khan, has officially handed over the Social Obligation Fund (SOF) Pay Order for NTTN, ITC, and IIG to the Chairman of BTRC, Engr. Md. Mohiuddin Ahmed, in accordance with the directives of the BTRC. We take great pride in being the first local company in Bangladesh, aside from Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), to adhere to these directives. Our distinguished Managing Director and CEO, Md. Arif Al Islam, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Brigadier General (Retd.) Ali Murtoza Khan, and other senior officials were present to commemorate this significant event.
