MTB Foundation distributes Livelihood Assets Grant amongst the Vulnerable Fishing Communities of Patharghata, Barguna MTB Foundation, as a part of its project titled ‘Creating Alternative Livelihood for Vulnerable Fishing Communities through Income Generating Activities (IGAs)’ distributed livelihood assets grant to a large number of Households (HHs) of the vulnerable fishing communities at Patharghata Sadar and Charduani Union, Barguna District, Barisal Division. Under this program, MTB Foundation distributed materials for duck farming, vegetable gardening and small business. These IGAs will be driven by the female family members of the fishermen during the fishing ban period who will take the activities forward with a view to creating an income source throughout the year. Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer and Golam Rabbani, Associate, MTB Foundation were present at the event held recently. Among others, Md. Rokonuzzaman, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Patharghata and Shahabuddin Panna, Executive Director, Nazrul Smriti Sangsad was present at the event. #mtb_bank #mtbplc

A day-long workshop on “Customer Service, Customer Experience & Complaint Management” held at BRAC Learning Centre (BLC), Bogura” MTB Training Institute (MTBTI) and MTB Service Quality Department (MSQD) jointly organized a day-long workshop on "Customer Service, Customer Experience & Complaint Management" at BRAC Learning Centre, Bogura on July 06, 2024, covering all 85 MTBians from 12 Branches and Sub-Branches of North-Bengal Region. The event began with an engaging ice-breaking activity setting the participants an energetic tone. After the formal inauguration ceremony, a series of informative sessions on “Customer Service Excellence” covering customer expectations, experience management, and different levels of service, “Effective Communication” covering customer communication, role plays, and telephone etiquettes and “Customer Complaint Management” was conducted by Head of MSQD Ms. Sharmin Ahmed. Associate Manager, MSQD Mr. Masudur Rahaman conducted an analytical session on “MSS & Its Impact” covering key strategies and outcomes of MSS. And an thought-provoking session on Integrity and Ethics in Banking focusing importance of integrity and ethics in banking with practical examples was conducted by MTBTI Faculty and Senior Manager Mr. A.B.M Ahsanul Haque. The workshop successfully equipped participants with essential skills for enhancing customer service and experience management.
