On July 10th I received an email from CreditKarma Advising of a late payment to Discover. I was unaware I was late on my payment and immediately paid my amount due and setup automatic payments. I searched my emails for any notifications from Discover reminding me of a late payment but I found nothing. I understand it is my responsibility to keep track of my finances but an email reminder would have avoided this devastating hit to my credit which went down 112 points. I ask that you please help me remove this late payment from my account. I am in a delicate point in my life where I need the credit to purchase a home and this was a huge blow to me and my family. I look forward to many great years as a customer of ********************** and am sorry for the late payment. My autopay will prevent this from happening again but please I ask that you do all you can to help me erase this late payment. Thank you. Hope to hear from you soon.

I have been a discover card member for many years. I went through two back to back hard times. They worked with me to keep my card active and did not take advantage of me. I was able to pay the balance and keep my payments up only because they were patient and set a low fixed payment option for me. Another bank did not and ended up in collections. I hope you guys never change! Keep up the great work!
