At Blue Diamond Resorts, we are dedicated to preserving crucial mangrove environments. In recognition of International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, we highlight our ongoing efforts at our resorts in Cancun, Mexico. At Royalton Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino, and Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, our monthly clean-ups in the Puerto Morelos Reef National Park have successfully removed over a ton of waste. Additionally, in collaboration with Centinelas del Agua and Iconn, Royalton CHIC Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort - Adults Only, and Planet Hollywood Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, organized a major conservation effort with over 100 volunteers. This initiative resulted in the collection of 125kg of waste and the reforestation of 18 mangroves in Laguna Manatí. Royalton CHIC Cancun also conducts biannual clean-ups in Nichupté Lagoon.
