Access Justice and Advocacy
It focuses on Legal assistance, education, information & research, as well as evidence-based advocacy to inform equitable public policy decisions. Access to justice targets vulnerable groups of people including women and children as victims of abuse and/ or conflict, victims of the genocide, children born out of rape, victims of domestic violence, etc.
According to the UN and Rwandan legislation, access to justice is a fundamental human right. It is also necessary for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. AVEGA works hard to ensure that all members have legal representation and counsel in order to assert their rights.
