Craving sushi but don’t want to do the whole leaving the house thing? Austin-based Hai Hospitality, the company that owns Uchi, Uchiko, and Uchiba, announces that you can have your sushi and eat it in pajamas, too — with a to-go sushi box. However, you might want to make those silk PJs so the sushi box doesn’t outstyle you.

The upscale chain’s executive pastry chef, Ariana Quant, is the mind behind the boxes, which a press release describes as a “ jewel box of sushi” made of silk. There are three options available. First is Ichi, which contains 12 pieces of nigiri (including avocado, madai, hamachi, sake toro, akami, and hirame), cucumber and sake maki maki, and hama chili crudo. It is $95.

The Ni box has all of those bites of sushi plus chirashi with five varieties of fish (a chef’s selection of sashimi, kanpachi, masu, bluefin otoro tartare, ikura, sushi rice, cucumber, avocado, shiso, negi) served sashimi-style over a bed of rice with traditional accompaniments. It is $195.

Finally, there is San, which has everything in the Ni box and two types of caviar (kaluga hybrid and smoked trout roe), with potato chips and creme fruit. It costs $295.

The boxes may be picked up at Uchi, Uchiba, and Uchiko locations nationwide, or ordered for delivery via Uber Eats. Boxes are limited in daily supply. Pre-orders being on June 17, with the first deliveries coming on June 18.
