Automations

Microsoft Flow is a new service similar to IFTTT and Zapier that lets you set up automations for your online life. Like the other two services, Microsoft Flow allows you to choose automations from templates or create your own flows.

Supported Services

Because Microsoft Flow is relatively new and still technically in Preview release as of this writing, it doesn't support a wide range of online services, only a few dozen.

Search and Browse

You can search and browse for automations you might want to enable in Microsoft Flow.

Creating Flows

When you choose to create your own flows, you start by selecting an available service and connecting Flow to that account. Once it has permission to access the account, you can continue building your automation.

Action, Condition

The next step in creating a custom flow is to choose the following step, which is either an action or a condition that must be met.

Completed Flow

A flow or automation is complete when you've filled in all the appropriate information, given your flow a name, and saved it. During the setup, you have the option to type code if you're more comfortable with it than selecting from available options.

Connections

You can manage your connected services all from one page, and there's another page for managing all your flows as well, accessible from the menu at the top right.
