Ring is adding a new indoor camera to its lineup that includes the ability to pan and tilt.

The Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera offers a 360-degree pan and 169-degree tilt, controllable from the Ring smartphone app. The company is marketing it as a way to keep tabs on pets in the home or monitor doorways in a small business. For when you're home, a manual privacy cover turns off audio and video when placed over the camera lens.

The Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam offers HD video and color night vision and comes with all of the typical features of a Ring camera, including live view, two-way talk, and real-time motion alerts. You can talk to your pet (or an intruder) with the app via the camera's built-in microphone and speaker.

You'll need a Ring Protect subscription to get some features, like recording videos to the cloud, sharing videos, and Ring's multi-cam live view, which shows the user a live view of four cameras simultaneously. Plans start at $4.99 per month.

Ring is launching the cameras in three new colors to accompany the usual white and black colorways. Ring calls them blush, charcoal, and starlight (aka pink, gray, and beige). The new colors are also coming to the second-gen Indoor Cam.

Getting a 360-degree view on a Ring camera previously required a Ring Stick Up Cam with a pan-tilt mount, which currently runs $129.99. The new Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam is $79.99.

The Pan-Tilt Indoor Camera from Ring may draw comparisons to the Editors' Choice Eufy E220 Indoor Cam and the TP-Link KC410S. Stay tuned for our full review.

Preorders for the black and white variants of the Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam start today on Ring's website and Amazon and ship on May 30. The new colors will be available "soon," Ring says.
