Time-Loop Assasination Shooter Deathloop Releases Today on PC and PlayStation 5

From Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks: Live. Assassinate. Die. Repeat.

Released today for PlayStation 5 and PC from Bethesda Softworks is critically acclaimed and already best-selling time-loop shooter Deathloop.

In Deathloop, two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious time-loop on the island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day for eternity. Think Groundhog Day, Edge of Tomorrow, or Palm Springs to name a few.

Developed by Arkane Studios, known for the critically acclaimed Dishonored series, Deathloop has a unique visual style featuring 1960s-inspired, retro-future technology and architecture that harkens back to the height of the Cold War. Interestingly enough, while Bethesda Softworks is now owned by console rivals Microsoft, and have pledged for future releases to be Xbox timed-exclusives, Deathloop is still a PS5 exclusive on the console side of things. However the game is still being released simultaneously on PC.

For the PlayStation 5, right now you can pick up a physical copy of Deathloop (PS5) for 21% off at A$79 on Amazon.

On PC, you can grab a digital copy of Deathloop for 17% off, A$82.95 for the Standard Edition or A$107.85 for the deluxe edition over on Fanatical.
