Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Investment Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will support their investment team by conducting thorough financial analysis, evaluating investment opportunities, and assisting in portfolio management. This role is crucial in driving informed investment decisions and ensuring the growth and performance of the infrastructure portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Modeling:
Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the performance and risks of existing and prospective investments.
Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to forecast financial outcomes.
Investment Research and Due Diligence:
Conduct comprehensive market research and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist in the due diligence process for potential investments, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments.
Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
Portfolio Management:
Monitor and analyze the performance of existing investments, providing regular updates and recommendations.
Assist in the development and execution of asset management strategies to maximize returns.
Track key performance indicators and financial metrics of portfolio assets.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and present regular reports on investment performance, market conditions, and portfolio strategy to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with the investor relations team to ensure accurate and timely communication with investors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, or a related role within the finance or infrastructure sectors.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of the infrastructure sector and investment principles is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
