When I joined from a different domain , I was feeling very bad and was unable to concentrate in simple work. I was feeling extremely depressed. Our MD called me and tried to understand my problem. He then suggested me to take a transfer to Mumbai with a leadership role. He told me a leader can’t do only routine stereotyped work . He needs more responsibilities and challenges to get job satisfaction and to hone his skills. I was initially scared to leave Kolkata. 👉 Our MD personally identified a flat owned by an Ex Army Officer during his Mumbai trip and accompanied me to finalize the rent deal to ensure my comfort and security. It was a very difficult decision to leave my parents , small daughter and wife at Kolkata. I was never forced to accept this transfer. But I had full confidence in my MD’s decision. From Mumbai I was transferred to Delhi. The Power of Ethical Leadership 🥇 👉 After 11 years, I can confidently say that leaving Kolkata was the best decision of my life. I've grown so much as a professional, gained knowledge, and received exposure with the highest authority of the Government as the Regional Head - Delhi of C-Quel. I'm proud to represent a company that spends time and resources to bring labour reforms, fight against corruption, and ensure Ease of Doing Business. Currently, I am posted in Kolkata and leading a big team (both central and regional) on a positive note with zeal and enthusiasm. Creating Happiness in an Ethical Manner 🤗 👉 Before C-Quel , I worked in several companies. But in C-Quel, I was pleasantly surprised to see how creating HAPPINESS IN AN ETHICAL manner can also be a goal of a successful company instead of chasing only MONEY.
