Meet our team! Deja Bednarz is a Duty Manager at URBNSURF Sydney.   Deja has been with us since February 2024, bringing her expertise from the airline industry in customer service and safety to ensure that our park runs smoothly and every guest has a great experience with us.   Interacting with our guests is where she finds joy and is passionate about URBNSURF's product, so much so that she has set a personal goal to learn how to surf. Go Deja!   As a full-time Duty Manager, she has chosen early morning shifts because she loves sunrises. Her dawn patrol starts at 5 am, and she goes through her operational checklist, which includes unlocking the gates and programming the waves for the entire day. URBNSURF Sydney: Month One Highlights! We are beyond stoked to share the incredible achievements from the first month of operation at URBNSURF Sydney, which officially opened its doors on May 13th. It's been an amazing journey so far, with Malu (our Wave Machine) consistently delivering perfect waves every single day! No lay days: Over 200,000 waves have rolled through, ensuring every day is a surfing day! Wave access for all: More than 10,000 surfers have hit the waves, from beginners to seasoned frothers, embracing the surf culture. Potential Media Reach: Over 40 million people!! We can't wait to see what the next month brings!
