    According to applicable regulations, such as section 211(3) of the Body Corporate and Community Management (Standard Module) Regulation, lot owners are required to maintain their lots in good condition. Insurability can also be adversely affected by failure to maintain a property. Insurers will include exclusions such as Damage caused by non-rectification of an Insured Property defect, error or omission that you were aware of, or should reasonably have been aware of - this will allow the insurer to deny a claim for damages resulting from failure to address these known issues. In addition to facing an uninsured loss for damage to their own property, lot owners can also be held responsible for damage to others' properties. #Property #Defects #Maintain
