Exporting Green Hydrogen: There is an urgent need for investments in infrastructure to achieve success. Here are three key takeaways from Day 2 of the conference (#CGHA): Utilise Existing Infrastructure: Repurposing coal export infrastructure can provide significant cost savings and efficiency gains. Common User Facilities: Shared infrastructure is recommended to keep costs down, necessitating collaboration among developers. Port Congestion: Ports are crowded with multiple projects, and there isn’t enough transmission infrastructure to transport electrons. A better solution is to move the molecules via pipelines instead of electrons through HV transmission, which is cheaper and makes better use of land. PiP's integrated design will help address these challenges, while also solving the hydrogen storage issue. #hydrogen
